Screening Process
We use our 3Screen process to identify candidates who possess the right technical background, soft skills, and corporate values for the job. In other words, we take the time and effort to find the right candidate for you, your company, and your job opening. As a result, we have relationships with Fortune 500 corporations and close ties to thousands of people in the community that date sixteen plus years.

Our proprietary 3Screen process is a new approach that goes beyond looking at the basic technical requirements on a resume. We peel back many layers of a person and job opportunity to ensure lasting, quality placements. Sure, we help both clients and candidates get what they want faster, but we also maximize the odds of a successful relationship.

What is the 3Screen Process?
An all-encompassing, three-part technical screening process used to narrow down the right job position for the right job applicant, developed exclusively by ProTech Systems Group Inc. ProTech’s recruiters assess potential discordance between the candidate and the company using a series of three, progressively intrinsic filters:
  • Step 1. Technical Recruiter prescreens using an in-house developed 32 point screening questionnaire. This screen includes technical and soft skills, such as leadership and communication.
  • Step 2. Use of ProTech’s proprietary online testing system. This timed test is sent to the candidate via email and assesses the technical aptitude of the candidate in a given technology area.
  • Step 3. The final screen in the process is performed by a senior member of ProTech’s team. This final quality step is used to evaluate the candidate’s technical aptitude and communication skills. This is an interview type session where the technical resource digs into the candidate’s background to determine technical ability, working with a technical team, leadership and communication abilities.

When hiring employees, our recruiters make use of the following resources:
    ProTech Database: We utilize a proprietary computerized system to assist our recruiters in locating the necessary personnel when they are needed. This system, which contains close to a million candidates, is growing every day.

    Networking: We network extensively with our current and former technical professionals, our clients, and with each other to find qualified applicants.

    Referrals: Many of our candidates are referrals from current technical professionals.

    Local Community:
    We have created relationships with local User Groups, Chambers of Commerce, and other group organizations in the local area.

    Job Fairs:
    We attend job fairs regularly to identify potential candidates and network within local communities.

    Recruiting Resources:
    Our recruiters have access to premium and industry-specific Web sites and subscribe to professional journals and publications to identify potential candidates.

Performance Monitoring
ProTech provides full support for our technical professionals and monitors their performance on a continual basis to ensure we are providing our clients with the highest levels of service in the staffing industry. Regular communication between the client manager and ProTech promotes resolution of issues and allows us to recognize and re-hire our best performers.
