ProTech is seeking a Desktop Tech/Help Desk Analyst for a 4-month contract for hire for a Fortune 500 company in Memphis, TN

 

Job Overview:

        Responsible for desktop support for end users of specific software along with researching, troubleshooting and training others

        Would prefer previous experience on an IT Help Desk (call center) environment

        May have to stagger hours since it is Help Desk environment (in relation to Work Hours below)

        Contract to hire positions

Job Responsibilities:

        Will be responsible for maintaining and updating a software enhancement database

        Desktop support for end users of software

        Research and trouble-shoot issues reported by existing software users

        Assist other support specialists and IS staff as needed and continue to acquire knowledge of other programs the department supports

        Conduct training Webinars for software above and build supporting documentation for training

        Quality assurance on software as iterations are complete and prior to deployment to production

        Respond to requests in a timely fashion

        Assist with training in the use of all technologies used

        Complete special projects

        Other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience Requirement:

        1 -3 years of previous software/QA support

        Bachelor degree a plus
