ProTech is seeking an Ecommerce Specialist  for a leading Home Décor importer and  distributor in Southaven, MS.

Our client offers Lighting, Wall Décor, Mirrors, Decorative Accessories and Decorative Furniture to our customers. We produce Framed Art and Mirrors in the U.S., as well as import product from overseas. 

The client maintains showrooms in High Point, Las Vegas, Dallas, Atlanta, and Tupelo, as well as in its new 275,000 sq. ft. office/warehouse location in Southaven, Mississippi.

The company operates a sourcing, quality control and product development office and showrooms in Dongguan City, Guangdong China.

Position Summary

The eCommerce Specialist  is a critical part of the eCommerce and sales team. The primary goal of this position is to drive the expansion of our online sales with new and existing accounts (e.g. Wayfair, HomeGoods, Kirkland’s). The right candidate must have the proven ability to grow sales and profitability on ecommerce accounts by evaluating existing and potential online markets to grow revenue and drive marketing campaigns. This position is also responsible for data collection and analysis. You must also be hands-on, with an unwavering willingness to roll up your sleeves and tackle the day-to-day tasks the role presents.         

Key Responsibilities

Foster strong relationships with online account managers in person and remotely to ensure we're always aware of new opportunities and maximizing our sales. This includes attending occasional trade shows and vendor summits.

Track performance and uncover tactics to drive sales while maintaining strong profitability. This involves thinking analytically and critically; always pushing to understand every aspect of your accounts at a granular level.

Create and monitor weekly and monthly sales dashboards to provide insights and trends to customer and product sales metrics

Collaborating with Sales & Merchandise planning, create an eCommerce forecast with special consideration to sourcing lead-times, sales trends, and new product launches

Working cross-functionality to ensure alignment with overall company and sales objectives. This involves communicating sales performance to our executive and product development team, working with our purchasing department to maintain proper inventory levels, and identify cobranded marketing opportunities.

Manage and optimize inventory position of eCommerce designated goods in both company owned and 3rd party warehouses

Evaluate channel costs to create item-level strategies optimizing for profitability based on the procurement model

Create post-promotional analysis to be leveraged in the creation of future promotional planning/ strategies

Travel for tradeshows and customer appointments, working with customers directly or with VP of Sales

Requirements:

Education: BS degree in business or related field required

Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience in a sales role; eCommerce experience mandatory. Experience in consumer products is strongly preferred.
