Key ProTech Changes

MEMPHIS, TN, July 1, 2019 – ProTech Systems Group, Inc. announces key changes, including new leadership and a brand refresh.

As of July 1, 2019, Founder and CEO Steve Bargiacchi is retiring. Over the past 3 decades, Bargiacchi has built ProTech from a small technical staffing company into the largest IT provider in Memphis. During retirement, Bargiacchi is looking forward to spending more time with his family, traveling and continuing his philanthropic efforts across the city.

Former minority owner and President, Dan Weddle will now serve as the President and CEO. Weddle has been with ProTech for 15 years and is well-equipped to lead the company into the future. He is looking forward to advancing strategic initiatives and building on the established brand.

Weddle’s first act as President and CEO is to unveil a newly designed logo, part of the company’s new brand identity. These changes come at a time when the company and the technology industry are evolving to provide more business value.

Part of this new brand identity will include a redesigned and updated website, set to launch later this summer.

“I’m excited to take over the strategic aspects of the business and help highlight and enhance our unique services for Memphis companies,” said Weddle. “Our new brand identity, logo and website will better reflect our value-focused initiatives and simplify our messaging.”
