ProTech selected as finalist for The Spark Award

ProTech Systems Group Inc. has been selected as one of three finalists in its category for The Spark Award – a prestigious annual award that celebrates individuals, nonprofits, corporations, and schools that are igniting change and making a difference in their community.

Nominees are evaluated based on philanthropic leadership, volunteerism, and activation/impact within the Memphis Metro Area. All finalists will be recognized at The SPARK Award Show luncheon on Nov. 21, where the event will be staged and filmed to air as a televised special Nov. 26 on WKNO-TV.

The SPARK Awards are produced in partnership with WKNO-TV, the Lipscomb Pitts Breakfast Club, Media Source, and The Rotary Club of Memphis to celebrate and recognize the efforts of individuals, nonprofits, corporations, and schools in 13 different categories. ProTech’s selection is in the Corporate category, which includes businesses with 101-499 employees.

The finalists are chosen by the Rotary Club of Memphis using a subjective evaluation based on measurable evidence of the validity of the nominee’s philanthropic leadership, volunteerism, activism and impact.

“This is such an honor,” said ProTech CEO Steve Bargiacchi. “Especially since the award is based on our philanthropic leadership, primarily the work we have done with the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Memphis.”
