Upcoming ProTech Cares Events

April 4 - MLK50 with the National Civil Rights Museum

ProTech Cares is the give back arm of ProTech Systems Group. ProTech Cares provides support, technology and volunteers to a number of partners throughout the Memphis area. We are committed to bettering the Mid-South community through our give back efforts and feel that each organization we support provides unique resources to the area.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis

We serve as the technology sponsor for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis (BGCM) while also participating in fundraising efforts throughout the year.

Through the BGCM and ProTech Cares partnership, we were able to help launch the Tech901 program that educates students in information technology, graduating them with an A+ certification. The program is designed to provide students with valuable skills while preparing them for careers in Memphis IT. The inaugural class of the Tech901 program graduated in May.

Additionally, ProTech Cares was able to donate over $1,000 this year for the BGCM Back to School Fund. This was collected from employee donations and helped to provide uniforms and school supplies to club members.

Partnering with the Memphis Area Association of Realtors, ProTech Cares helped collect new and gently-used coats for the BGCM. These coats are given to students that may not otherwise have a coat or jacket.

These are just a few of our BGCM initiatives that ProTech Cares supports. We are proud to be so heavily involved with an organization that is shaping the future of our community.

Susan G. Komen

ProTech Cares also supports the local chapter of Susan G. Komen through year-long fundraising efforts, employee education and participating in the annual Race for the Cure. Our 2016 fundraising efforts helped to donate over $2,000 to the Memphis chapter. These funds are distributed to women’s health providers and researchers in the local community that provide life saving services to women.

Mid-South Mission of Mercy

In 2016, ProTech Cares provided technology solutions and volunteers for the Mid-South Mission of Mercy which provides free dental services to underserved citizens during a two-day free clinic.

ProTech Cares is also proud to support the National Civil Rights Museum, the Madonna Learning Center and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. While these are our main community partners, ProTech Cares works to support the causes our employees are passionate about as well.
