A team of ProTech employees volunteered on Feb. 26-27 at the Mid-South Mission of Mercy (MidMOM), an annual two-day free clinic sponsored by the Memphis Dental Society that provides free dental services to underserved people living in the Mid-South area.
ProTech provided laptops, desktops and iPads, along with three printers, provided through ProTech’s partnership with NovaCopy. The ProTech volunteer team provided technical resources during the MOM setup and during the entire event. In addition to tech support, ProTech volunteers also helped in other areas, such as escorting adults to treatment areas.
The ProTech volunteer team included Chris Bradley, Jackson Peel, Mike Scallion, Ty McMurry, Marty Howard and Jakki Hudson.
The clinic, which was held in Cordova at Bellevue Baptist Church, provided dental care to more than 2,000 people. All services are provided free of charge by members of the Tennessee State Dental Association, Mississippi State Dental Association, and Arkansas State Dental Association, assisted by a host of volunteers.
